The Ruby is the official birth stone for the month of July.
The traditional colour associated with ruby is a deep red colour. The name of
the stone was taken from the Latin word, ‘ruber’ which means red, reflecting
the colour of the stone. The ruby is associated with vitality, confidence and
strength.
The Diamond Studio incorporates rubies into many of its
designs, whether it be rings, necklaces or football jewellery, for example, The
Aberdeen Collection. However, we are able to make any type of design with the
ruby stone if there is something in particular you are looking for.
An example of a ring we have designed set with rubies is The Reds
Ruby Ring. The ring is set with 7 rubies and has the official AFC crest and
Northern Lights engraved on the
inside of the ring.
Another one of our designs from this collection is The Dons Pendant. The pendant is made
with 1 ruby and 2 round diamonds. All items can be customised or engraved with
dates, initials or personal messages. We also offer one-off, make to order
pieces with the club crest. Although, all designs are subject to the clubs
approval.
