Wednesday night saw the official launch of the new Diamond Studio in 29. We have been open since our move, but it was only right to celebrate in style with Glasgow's glitterati. There was a great mix of top business people, Diamond Studio customers, friends of the business and members of 29. Guests were greeted with a champagne reception in the networking bar, and canapes provided by the lovely Mister Singh's India, as our DJ played throughout the night. The staff in 29 ensured that everyone was well cared for, and the Studio was buzzing with guests.
The event was a great success, and enjoyed by all. Photos from the night will follow on facebook, our blog and our website. We intended to hold a prize draw with everyone who left their business cards and contact details on the night, but time ran away from us so if you still want to enter we will hold the draw next week. E-mail info@thediamondstudio.co.uk with subject "prize draw".
The Diamond Studio would like to thank all those who attended and supported us as we begin the next phase for the Studio. We would like to invite you all to come back and visit us in our new location to see how we can meet your jewellery needs.

The Diamond Studio visits Murray Park
Today was great fun for the Diamond Studio, as we went up to Rangers training ground Murray Park to showcase our jewellery and introduce the team to our Spirit of 72 Collection.
As our model, Maurice Edu has been wearing the collection already, and team mate Kirk Broadfoot has visited the Studio and viewed the range so we thought it was only fair to show the rest of the team!

The other players were just as enthusiastic and it has given us renewed energy to promote the range to fans from all backgrounds. We are looking to expand the range, with new pieces appearing regularly. Have you seen the full range? Visit www.thediamondstudio.co.uk/spiritof72 to view all the pieces.

The Real Hustle in The Diamond Studio
Yesterday was great fun for The Diamond Studio as 29 became the filming venue for BBC3 television programme The Real Hustle. The corridors were buzzing with people and excited faces which was great to see.
Presenter Jessica-Jane was first to discover The Diamond Studio as she looked for a mirror in the former spa! And within the hour the stars of the show were glittering with our diamonds and unique jewellery. The cast loved our pieces and as a result our jewellery will now be worn on the show when the next season is aired! It is a great coup for the Studio to be involved with such an exciting high profile show.

New Recruit Polly Parsons looked great in our diamond bangle and cocktail ring.
As did New Recruit Jazz Lintott who modelled the stunning spinning 'boxer' ring.
The filming was on all day, so the jewellery was being used until late, and this morning has us wondering if we should get our jewellery checked at the workshop to confirm it's still real? It was The Real Hustle after all....!! But then again, one off pieces are hard to replicate...

The Diamond Studio Down Under?
The Diamond Studio has always been a fan of Australia, so to have several connections to Oz last week was fantastic.
Summera was lucky enough to meet representatives from ANZ Bank as part of SCDI Austrade, and she was able to arrange a tour for the representatives at Rangers Football Club, which proved a great success. This tie up continues on from the creation of Follow Down Under, where an Aussie expatriate thought he saw an entrepreneurial idea in our Rangers jewellery collection Spirit of 72. As a result, Follow Down Under was born so that Rangers fans across the Oceania continent and beyond can get their fix of their favourite team.
Follow Down Under covers more than just jewellery, with all varieties of Rangers merchandise.
All products available can be seen at www.followdownunder.au.com.
As the Australian connections continue to grow, who knows what next, perhaps The Diamond Studio Down Under...?

The Diamond Studio: Business as Usual
Despite only moving into our premises two weeks ago, The Diamond Studio is open for business as usual. The move has been a great success. We have a few finishing touches to make, however we are still able to cater to all your jewellery needs.
Our new premises has not altered our services, and we continue to sell beautiful jewellery, create glamorous bespoke pieces, mend damaged jewellery, provide valuations and work on our collaborations with Scotland's top football clubs.
It has been lovely seeing customers in our new premises, and hope that those who have not had a chance to make it to 29 will pop by soon. If you want to come in for just a browse or something specific feel free to make an appointment by phoning 0141 248 2389, or drop by 29 Royal Exchange Square, where the reception will point you in the right direction.
This is a big step for The Diamond Studio and we would like to thank our customers and friends for their support during the move.
