The Diamond Studio is honoured to be the jeweller to the beautiful game; official licensee to Rangers, Celtic, Aberdeen and soon to be Fulham, providing exclusive high-quality collections for every fan or player.

Each collection includes special designs specific to the club and money from every piece goes back into the club. We are committed to football and are privileged to be able to work so closely with the clubs and hope to take our ideas and passion out further across football. 

Every single one of our designs are manufactured to the highest possible standard and have a variety of different designs for both men, women and even children. Whether you are looking for a simple design with the crest or something more unique with your own name or personal message then we are able to do custom-made designs (subject to the clubs approval) which fit within your budget and style. 

Each of our brands: ‘Northern Lights’, ‘Spirit of 72’ and ‘The Bhoys’ include earrings, pendants, dog-tags, cufflinks, rings, necklaces, key-rings, bracelets and business card holders. Although we are always looking for new ideas and love creating new pieces so all ideas are welcome!

The Diamond Studio is very excited to announce that we will be officially linking up with

Peter & Roughies Football Show at PLZ Soccer. Anyone as passionate about the #beautifulgame as we are will be familiar with the legends that are Peter & Roughie.

We have been tuning in from days past at Clyde 1 to the present format on PLZ Soccer: www.plzsoccer.com which is live on CentralFM 103.1. This much listened to show hold a news section on latest breaking news stories, in-depth interviews and a variety of exclusive video content on the issues of the day from some of the country’s top players, managers and pundits. The Diamond Studio is proud to announce we have a Banner on their website (www.plzsoccer.com) and are launching a new exciting competition #WinningWednesdays. Each prize is specially created for the show and winners will be invited to collect in person from The Diamond Studio, situated on the 1^st Floor, 29 Glasgow, 29 Royal Exchange Square and enjoy a glass bubbly with the Team to celebrate.

Every piece is designed and made by the Studio with #love. We have just signed a contract with our first Club in England with Fulham FC and will be launching Fulham Forever soon. We have a wide range of designs for each collection including cufflinks, rings, dog-tags, earrings, business card holders and keyrings. However, we are also able to make custom-made designs with the crests hand-engraved (subject to approval of the Club) something that has never been offered before.

We are honoured to be able to work in football and such historic Clubs. Money from every piece that we sell goes back into the club so it’s a real partnership. We hope to take our ideas and passion out further across football.

Our links with football have also played an important role in our commitment to charity. 

Like football we have had yellow and red cards, injury, faced relegation but feel very blessed to have held on and fingers crossed now moving up the rankings. The most precious diamonds in our journey are the amazing people we have met who we would like to thank.

The Peridot - Birthstone of August

The Peridot is the official birthstone for the month of August. The word peridot is derived from the Greek word 'faridat', which means 'gem'. The Peridot is a pale green variety of chrysolite and is used as a gemstone.

The peridot is one of only the few gemstones that come in any colour. However, they do come in a wide range of natural green colours and shades, with the most popular being a sparkling green colour. 

As well as the birthstone for August, they are also known as the wedding anniversary gemstone for the 16th year of marriage.

The formal characteristics of the peridot are success, peace, love, truth, faithfulness and loyalty. Furthermore, the peridot is considered to be the stone of fame, dignity and protection. Previously, the peridot was often used to decorate churches and is also used to decorate the shrine of the Magi and the Cologne Cathedral.

'Wheel you marry me?" - Chris Pritchard Proposal

Just after completion of the keirin, finishing third in a seventh-place ride-off and still in his race kit - Chris Pritchard, Scottish cyclist proposed to his partner Amanda Ball in the stands at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. The Sheffield-born cyclist said: “I couldn’t tell anybody because I didn’t want it to get out, it was top secret.”

We, The Diamond Studio, were delighted to have been a part of this secret and honoured to create the custom-made 0.52 pear shaped diamond set in 18k white gold.

The Diamond Studio also designed a silver dog tag for Chris, for which to put the engagement ring on. One side was engraved in Roman Numerals ‘20 17 11 1’. This signifies the 20^th games, 17 sports, 11 days and 1 city. “To do is to be” was engraved on the other side of the tag. The phrase, spoken by philosopher Aristotle was chosen as it seemed to best fit the special moment.
